Band & DJ Information
Access
Access for setup is from the rear of the Marquee. Supplier parking is located behind the Marquee and access is through the far end of the main car park. Access to Band / DJ stage is via a path around the back of the Marquee and through a dedicated door.
Sound Limiter
Due to planning restrictions, we are required by the local authority to use a sound limiter for all musical entertainment in the Marquee. The limiter we use is an industry standard device which uses a built-in microphone. It is hung independently from the floor so is not affected by vibrations which can provide false readings. There are sockets directly connected into the sound limiter which all band / DJs sound equipment must be plugged into (no alternative supply is available). The maximum power supply to these sockets is 16A. The sound limiter device is set to around 95dBA – this level is set to provide a maximum level required by our planning constraints for our nearest boundary. Experience has shown that this is more than ample for the Marquee irrespective of the type of act concerned. Above the prescribed limit, a set of lights on the front panel will start to flash, first amber, then red. If the limit is exceeded, the power will be automatically shut down, then reinstated after a few seconds. Please note, the Plum Park Manor staff cannot alter the prescribed sound levels or bypass the limiter. We would strongly recommend setup and sound testing, particularly for bands, prior to the sit-down meal for any event to ensure levels are set prior to start time.
Safety
Safety of our guests is of upmost important to us, so you are required to adhere to our onsite health and safety processes. At the start of the entertainment set, you must announce that NO drinks are to be taken onto the dancefloor to ensure the safety of the guests. You may be required to repeat this announcement at intervals during the entertainment. All electrical equipment must be PAT tested, and copies of certificates emailed to the Plum Park Manor before the event, along with a copy of your Public Liability Insurance. In the event of a Fire, the music must be immediately turned off and you must evacuate though the nearest fire exit and make your way to the assembly point.
Confetti cannons and smoke machines are prohibited. £1000.00 charge will be made if you fail to comply.
Finish Times
All entertainment must be finished by 12 midnight with the last track being played no later than 11.55pm. Failure to finish on time will result in automatic shutdown of the power supply.

Plum Park Manor Testimonials
I got married at Plum Park Manor this weekend and everything from the rooms to the staff to the food & drink was absolutely superb. The staff could not do enough to help us and our guests and accommodated all sorts of additional needs, such as breastfeeding mothers, elderly people, and autistic individuals, without making anybody feel like an inconvenience. All the feedback from the guests regarding the venue has been excellent. I would choose PPM again and again - the only thing that went wrong that they couldn't control was the weather!

We had our wedding back on 25.09.2025 and couldn’t have wished for a better day. We first viewed the venue 2 years prior and as soon as I saw the orangery I knew it was the perfect place for us. The grounds of the venue are simply stunning also. We booked it on that first visit.
The team were so amazing throughout the whole process, they had a change of owners which meant a few small changes from what we originally booked but the team were so accommodating and helpful it didn’t feel like an issue to us, we actually thought the changes that had been made did make the experience even better. Many of my suppliers had bookings at this venue previously and when I told them where we were getting married they were very excited to be going back.
Huge thank you to Cherelle and the rest of the team working on our wedding day, the day ran very smoothly and Cherelle was very helpful and accommodating, on the day and on the lead up to the day.
I didn't feel any stress on the day of the wedding as I was confident the team at plum park had everything in hand, the planning meeting and the communication on the build up the to day was brilliant.
All the guests have commented how lovely the venue is and on how well the day ran.
The accommodation on site was perfect also.
We would 10000 percent recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique, stunning, but also intimate feeling wedding venue.

We had the absolute privilege to have our wedding at Plum Park Manor on 24.09.2025.
We had explored various venues but Plum Park stood out as an exclusive use manor house venue that had realistic options for hire. I cried when first entering the Plum Park orangery ceremony room and we instantly had a connection to the venue. Rowan also made a warm and professional first impression.
During the planning process, were were connected with Cherrelle who was our personal events manager from the venue. We can not thank her enough for her organisation, expertise and communication, alongside being a lovely person to share such a significant day of our lives with. We especially appreciated her patience and problem solving when needing to make last minute changes due to some guests dropping out.
I am a significant perfectionist but I really do describe my wedding day as perfect and it is a day we will forever cherish. All the staff at the venue worked seamlessly and efficiently. This allowed my husband and I, plus our 80 guests to relax and enjoy the day.
We received so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food. We had attended a tasting at the venue prior to our wedding and were impressed that the food was even better compared to the tasting. We also had the wood fire pizzas in the evening which were a hit with our guests. The venue catered brilliantly to dietary requirements and guests with allergies. There are many options for alcohol including drinks packages.
The newly purpose built marquee at Plum Park is absolutely beautiful and the entirety of the venue provides ample indoor and outdoor spaces. Additionally, there are so many spaces inside, around the manor house and in the garden to get stunning couple portrait pictures.
There is accommodation for a select number of guests so our closest family and wedding party could spend the night at Plum Park. The rooms are newly refurbished, clean and comfortable and you get breakfast the next morning which was lovely.
As advised by the venue, we informed guests to prebook taxi's so there were no problems with other guests travelling to and from the venue. Majority of guests stayed 5 minutes drive away in Towcester at The Saracens Head.
Overall, we could not recommend Plum Park more and will forever be grateful we found this extraordinary venue, which is made more extraordinary by how excellently it is run and the professionalism of the event managers.
You can truly curate a day that is customised and individual to you and your partner. There are wonderful third party suppliers locally that we found recommended by the venue which made sourcing third party suppliers (DJ, pianist, hair artist, decorator and florist) much easier.
We would highly recommend you go view Plum Park Manor so you can experience the magic for yourselves!
Love the Malmbergs!

We had our wedding at Plum Park Manor on the 10th of July this year, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful blend of elegance and charm that created the perfect backdrop for our special day. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the setting.
A huge thank you to Cherelle and the entire team - they were outstanding. From the early planning stages to the day itself, they were supportive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and calm, friendly approach made us feel at ease throughout the entire process.
The food was exceptional - beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Every course was a hit with our guests, and the service was seamless.
If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers both beauty and incredible service, we cannot recommend Plum Park Manor enough. It truly exceeded all of our expectations and gave us memories to last a lifetime.
Thank you again to everyone at Plum Park for making our day so special!

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding day. We’d viewed a lot of venues and found so many that were lovely, but it wasn’t until we walked into the bright beautiful orangery at Plum Park that we started to picture it. We originally viewed with Rowan, who was part of the team on the big day as well, and then Cherrelle took over to plan and run things on the day. We cannot thank their tireless efforts enough; Cherrelle in particular was incredible and seemed to constantly be in 20 places at once making sure everything was perfect.
Also cannot understate how amazing the food was; almost too good with our guests talking more about the beef than anything that happened on the day.
Thank you again Plum Park for making our day unforgettable xxAmberley Pepper (26.08.2025)
"The best day ever", "the food was so nice", "such a beautiful venue", "utterly fantastic" - these are some of the comments we received from our guests after Plum Park Manor hosted our wedding a few weeks ago.
We absolutely loved getting married at Plum Park Manor, the grounds are a perfect mix of flexible outdoor/indoor spaces for all ages, it feels light and natural and also beautifully maintained. Amongst so many stand-out features, the newly refurbished bridal prep room is brilliant and very spacious, there is a great choice of drinks at the bar, and the evening pizza is amazing!
Rowan, our designated wedding co-ordinator, is exceptionally good at his job! He's such a lovely person and no question or task was ever too much. He was really helpful, organised and attentive whilst we were in the planning stages, and during the wedding morning he was somehow multiple places at once and was present whenever anybody needed his help, we could simply just enjoy our day as he had everything covered! All the staff we met were equally as lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout the entire day. Thank you so much for a perfect day! 🥰🌷
